In another proud moment for Philippine martial arts, Team Nueva Vizcaya Taekwondo Finals raised the national colors high at the 2025 Pugnator Taekwondo International Championship Open, delivering an impressive medal performance that reaffirmed the Philippines’ place among Asia’s elite taekwondo nations.
Competing under the banner of the Samahang Taekwondo ng Pilipinas (STP), the Nueva Vizcaya contingent dominated both the Poomsae (forms) and Kyorugi (sparring) divisions with their trademark grit, precision, and composure. Each kick and movement reflected countless hours of disciplined training—hallmarks of the Filipino fighting spirit that has long defined the country’s success on the international stage.

Among the standout performers were Erhald Van Tutaan, France Edrielle Foronda, and Jhecker Lumines, who each struck double gold in both Poomsae and Kyorugi—an extraordinary feat that underscored their versatility and competitive edge.
